Regular drink specials make Swaby's Tavern a favorite after-work destination
Swaby's Tavern is a unique place located at 6 South Street in Auburn, New York. Our theme is Auburn history, and many unique Auburn artifacts. The Tavern re-opened in 2008 after being closed for several years, it is a local hang out for people to stop, relax and fortify themselves. Auburn’s residents frequent the Tavern too, purchase drinks and meals and participate in lively conversations.
It’s one of Auburn’s focal points for neighbors to come together, exchange news, talk of
politics, and share in the general feeling of conviviality. It is firmly established as gathering places for the light hearted socializing, serious talk, and of course, a hearty meal accompanied by a
tasty libation or
two. Whether, lunch or a round of drinks in the evening, visiting Swaby's Tavern is always an
extraordinary experience. Relax over a cocktail, or indulge in our chicken wings, Burgers and Pizza for which Swaby's Tavern is famous. Friendly service is a given.
History of Tavern: Taverns served as the first town hall, news center, general store and military station in early American History. The local militia mustered there to join ranks with the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Taverns are rich in our America roots.
Swaby's Tavern looks forward to welcoming you!
